# Convert an absolute path to a file URL

Use `Bun.pathToFileURL()` to convert an absolute path to a `file://` URL.

```ts theme={"theme":{"light":"github-light","dark":"dracula"}}
Bun.pathToFileURL("/path/to/file.txt").href;
// => "file:///path/to/file.txt"
